We are super excited for our first ever Community Work Weekend! This is an opportunity for adults join us at Unalayee and work hard while giving Camp a hand with some projects, eat tostadas and brownies, sing songs at campfire, go swim in Mosquito Lake, reminisce with other alumni and friends and spend time in the beautiful wilderness Mosquito Lake Basin!
Dates: Friday, June 16th – Sunday, June 18th
Logistics: We will meet at the wilderness gate on the evening of Friday the 16th for a fun truck ride up the hill (or a nice stroll if you so choose). That night we will feast over a hearty dinner and discuss plans for the weekend. Saturday day and Sunday morning (as people’s schedules allow) will be dedicated to the weekend’s work projects which may include building a new composting biffy, maintaining the camp road, and generally getting the basin ready for the summer. On Sunday afternoon we’ll give you and your stuff a hitch back out to the wilderness gate.
Meals will be provided Friday evening through Sunday lunch.
