After spending many years as a camper, counselor and volunteer at Camp Unalayee, Jacob joined the Board of Directors and has been a dedicated supporter of Camp Unalayee and the camp community.
He is also a true outdoors man – he has completed many multiple week back country trips throughout California and South America.
Jacob grew up in Albany, California and went on to study at Oberlin College. He earned his doctorate from Stanford University in Neuroscience, and is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Bioinformatics at Genentech. His research is focused on breast cancer.
Particularly interested in guiding Unalayee’s financial oversight and fundraising strategy, it’s great to have a quick mind like Jacob’s on our Board.
