It’s time to plan for our annual spring reunion! Get ready for a weekend of activities, music, food, friends, prizes, campfire, and a sleepover! We like to think of it as a mini Family Days – except with a much shorter drive!
This is a Camp Unalayee reunion, but it’s also an awesome event for your friends from outside our community! It’s a great chance for them to get to know us, get involved with camp, and learn about how camp helps kids grow and learn to appreciate the wilderness – so invite the whole clan!

Hello Unalayee Friends,
I first stepped foot in the Mosquito basin 22 years ago, and since have always planned to return year after year. Never did I expect to return to long hours spent in board meetings. Yet nothing could be more worth it. Nothing else in my life has compared to my experiences as a camper at Camp Unalayee – therefore, it is a privilege and an honor to spend my time making those experiences possible for others.
As a new member of the Camp Unalayee Board of Directors, I have been exposed to all the hard work that happens year round to make Camp a reality for 100s of kids. This past year I have seen some major accomplishments, including full enrollment and the successful transition of leadership to our new directors.
As we celebrate our 65th year we are working to ensure another successful 65 years and many more after that. As part of this work we have been restructuring the Board while maintaining the same summer camp traditions that we all love and care for. A quick peek at our Board’s goals for the year include:
The Board alone cannot accomplish these goals. We encourage and depend on community support every step of the way. There are a variety of different ways that you can get involved: serve on a committee, consider joining the Board, help with a fundraiser, make a donation, or volunteer up at Camp. Just let us know!
We appreciate all of the support we have already received from the community and we look forward to working with all of you in the future!
