We are excited to welcome the newest member of our year-round staff! Mariah Davis will fill the roles of both Office Manager and Community Liaison as our new Administration and Outreach Coordinator. She will be the friendly voice on the phone and email to families and community advocates for all of our campers. Mariah will handle all front-country communications plus meet & greet the camper buses in the summer. We were delighted to find someone within our Camp community with so much administrative skill as well as literal award-winning community service experience! She will be at the helm of outreach and recruitment of new campership kids, helping the organization to focus on our mission of providing youth from diverse backgrounds with life-changing wilderness and outdoor living experiences that benefit young people, the environment, and their communities.
Mariah attended CampU as a teen and it changed her life forever. She returned to camp life as a camp counselor and has had the hiking spirit ever since. Her mother and three sisters have all attended Camp U in the past and are all avid campers in their personal lives because of their experiences at Unalayee. Mariah’s daughter is now an experienced camper as well and a 3rd generation Camp attendee.
Mariah was born and raised in the Bay Area and has a passion for community service and outreach.
When not helping out with the camp office and community events, Mariah enjoys hiking and hanging out with friends.
